📖1 Peter 1:15-16

"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy."

🕊🔥Holiness can be defined as:

-Hebrew: Set Apart

-Greek: Blessed and Pure

-Dedicated and consecrated unto God.

-Exalted, or Worthy 

-Of complete devotion to God.

-Perfect in Goodness and Righteousness

🤔So, how do we become holy?...

By being in alignment with God, and His Word and laws, in all things... Loving what He loves...  Hating what He hates... Measuring by HIS standards- not our own carnal, fleshy standards. And submitting to His perfect will- For His Glory- In obedience, worship, relationship, faithfulness, and repentance -  Being shaped into HIS IMAGE and having His countenance upon us. For in Him is NO darkness at all.

📖Isaiah 57:15

"For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones."

The Holy Ghost is given unto us for HIS HOLY Spirit to be in us, to comfort, testify, bear witness of the Son Jesus Christ, and to guide and direct, prompt and warn, and so much more- to make us holy!

📖1 Corinthians 6:19-20

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

Knowing that we belong to God, and that He desires us to be Holy and devoted unto Him- As a bride to her bridegroom, devoted, loyal, and purely single to Him- to become one, belonging to each other- This is the call to be holy, as He is, in order to be one with Him.

📖 Romans 12, and Colossians 3-

Speak greatly of, "dos and don'ts" as examples of, not being conformed to this world, but being transformed into the image of God...

*Putting off sin

*Obedience to God's laws

*Renewing our minds & spirits in

repentance- Daily!

*Producing the true Fruits of the

Spirit

📖2 Corinthians 7:1

"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

📖 Psalms 139:23-24

"Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

Holiness often seems unattainable to most of us... But, as we gain understanding of these Scriptures, We can see that it is actually-

The Holiness of our God in us, surrounding us, working in us, and refining us. He asks our full surrender in following Him, in obedience, and faithfulness. And then, being filled with the Holy Spirit, HE makes us Holy!  For He is Holy!🕊🔥🙌

🙏Father, I thank You so much that You are so holy and righteous, that You bless us with Your Spirit, Your holiness. Your righteousness fills and changes us. I thank You, Lord God, For Your beauty, and grace, Your mercy and enduring love. Thank You for making the way. Refine us, Lord, for Your glory, Come and have Your way in us. Blessed be the name of the Lord, in Jesus' Powerful, Beautiful, and Holy name, Amen.🙏🔥🕊🙌
