Finding and have peace in the

storms of life?

📖 In Mark 4: 37-40 , we read-

"37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?"

So. . 😉 4 key components here:

1- They called on the Lord for help.

2- The Lord rebuked the storm.

3- He posed the questions of Fear vs. Faith

4- The Lord was Present!

We must never forget, that the Lord our God is with us. And when a storm arises, we are to straight way put away all fear,  rebuke the storm by calling upon the Lord in faith...  knowing that He is our deliverer, and even if He allows a situation for His purposes, we need not fear because He will be with us through it. And we can trust Him, even when we might not understand.

By staying focused on Him, and His love, we can cast out all fear and anxiety, and be at peace, resting in His great love and presence.

📖 1 John 4: 18

"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."

We can be like David, a man after the Lord's own heart, fearless and confident before Goliath.

📖1 Samuel 17: 45-46

"45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

46 This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand.. . "

🔥🕊What an amazing and powerful proclamation, really!

The Lord is our Prince of Peace! If we will commit our ways unto Him, and put all our trust and faith in Him, He is our refuge in every storm of life. He will grant us His peace. And I am so eternally grateful for this!

📖Isaiah 40: 28-31

"28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength...

... 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

🙏Heavenly Father,  Thank you for the inspiration and insights you give us, the blessed understanding of your love, your grace, and your peace. Father, please help us to stand in the confidence of your perfect peace, knowing that when you are with us, no one can stand against us. And while life's storms do come, help us, Lord, to remember that you are on the throne, in control, and we can be at peace, and leave it all in your hands. For you love us, and care for us every day and every night. Help us, Lord God, to focus on you and not the storm. Thank you that you are our refuge, and strong safety tower. Thank you that you will never leave us nor forsake us. You are worthy of all our praise, and I give all honor and glory unto you forever, In Jesus' mighty and most holy, beautiful name, Amen.🙏🕊💓
