"The God of Promise-

🌿Wilderness to Garden"

📖Isaiah 51: 3

"For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody."

Being in the "wilderness" or "desert" places, can be scary, and frankly uncomfortable... until we understand it, and learn to embrace it.

📖Joshua1:9

"Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."

The Lord is in the seasons of Wilderness WITH US. We are not alone, and are commanded not to fear. Because His perfect love casts out all fear... therefore, we must need His love perfected in us, if we are still in fear.

So,  What is . . . The Wilderness?

🌿❤The Wilderness- is the PROCESS- - The process of going from- Where you are at spiritually, in seeking or receiving your purpose, calling, destiny, purpose- in Christ -  To receiving your promise- your "Promised Land."

It is where/when the Lord intervenes in your life, and sets you into a season of reflection, even correction at times, redirection, refinement...

It often looks like a deconstruction- in order to then reconstruct, a separation and call to time with Him alone to do necessary heart examination, searching, and refocusing. But, it is a very important, and necessary time and process. And sometimes we go through multiple seasons of this process.

📖In Deuteronomy 8:2-3, we read:

"And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live."

☝To humble thee

☝To prove thee

☝To know what was in your heart

☝To suffer thee to hunger

☝To prove if you would be obedient

☝To feed thee with Manna

☝To make thee know to live by

     His every Word

So, This is where we learn what we did not know. This is where the Lord searches and works in us, tests us, to see if we will really trust Him. And to see if He can trust us with that which He calls us to. To mature us spiritually.  To strip and prune away anything not in alignment with Him, that may hinder us.  To train us not to backslide, but be firmly planted in Christ. To strengthen and fortify us. Because, it is necessary for Him to prove us. If we don't surrender to this process fully... We can do damage to ourselves and others.

❤Joseph- received his dream and promise, but was then rejected by his brothers, sold into Egypt, falsely accused and imprisoned... For quite some time... Before receiving his promise. This was a wilderness season!

❤Even Jesus - After being baptized- gave the example- of going into the wilderness for forty days to be tempted and to prepare, fast, and pray... Before setting out to fulfill His ministry, calling and destiny. This was the wilderness!

We learn to keep our eyes and hearts fixed on the Lord our God- the Promise Keeper - Not just on the Promise.  So we can steward well, and know how to navigate with God.

And to learn, to rejoice and know, the beauty of the Lord's Garden, the Promised Land.  To be grateful for the promise, when it comes! And it WILL come...

For the Promise Keeper never fails.

📖Philippians 1:6

"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ"

🌿❤🕊🔥🙌🙏

🙏Father, I thank you so much for these seasons of refinement and teaching. You have blessed us, and manifest Your great love for us in them. I pray, Lord, for all Your children  that we will submit and surrender to Your will to shape, and call us to walk in faith, obedience and full submission to Your will. I am so grateful for Your hand upon us, that You never leave us,  that You meet us where we are... But You never leave us there, but take us to new heights with You. I praise You God for this, and give all honor unto You. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen🙏

🙏❤🕊God Bless
